The School of Artificial Intelligence and Intelligent Manufacturing of Jiangsu University, in response to the needs of the country's top ten strategic emerging industries and the key industries in Jiangsu Province, combined with the characteristics of the disciplines and talent cultivation of mechanical engineering, agricultural engineering, computer science and technology in the school, and on the basis of long-term cooperation with industry-leading enterprises such as XCMG Group, Huawei Group, and Beijing Jingdiao Group, was established in 2018 and obtained the first batch of national-level modern industrial colleges in 2021. The college integrates resources such as local governments, schools, industry-leading enterprises, research institutes (collaborative innovation centers), etc., to create a collaborative training base for multi-disciplinary, multi-industry and multi-professional cross-integrated compound and innovative talents. The college focuses on the development trend of the industry, and builds five major practical carriers such as intelligent equipment design, intelligent manufacturing, intelligent electromechanical and control, additive manufacturing and precision measurement.
