To further implement the concept of new engineering construction, accelerate the reform of engineering practice teaching and connotation construction, and promote the sustainable development of the engineering training center, the annual working conference of the Engineering Training Teaching Steering Committee of our school was held in the library conference room from April 24th to 26th. Quan Li, member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and vice-president of Jiangsu University, Sun Kangning, national teaching master and professor of Shandong University, Zhang Yuanming, director of the Engineering Training Teaching Steering Committee of Jiangsu University and professor of Southeast University, Zhu Huabing, deputy director of the Engineering Training Teaching Steering Committee of the Ministry of Education and professor of Hefei University of Technology, Zhu Min, member of the Engineering Training Teaching Steering Committee of the Ministry of Education and senior engineer of Nanchang Hangkong University, Lin Youyu, member of the Teaching and Guidance Committee of the Engineering Training Center of Jiangsu University, R&D director and senior engineer of SUMEC, Jiang Zhongwei, professor of Yamaguchi University, Liu Huixia, professor of Jiangsu University, Shao Xuejun, director of the Basic Engineering Training Center, Xue Hongli, deputy director of the Academic Affairs Office, and the main leaders of the Basic Engineering Training Center and Industrial Center attended the conference. This conference was chaired by Du Shengqing, the secretary of the Party Committee of the Basic Engineering Training Center.

The vice-president l Quan Li delivered a welcoming speech and introduced the new achievements of the career development of our school. He pointed out that engineering training is an important practical platform for our school, and hoped that experts would provide guidance on the construction and development of the Engineering Training Center and offer suggestions on how to better cultivate outstanding talents with the characteristics of Jiangsu University.

Zhou Lian, director of the Industrial Center, reported on the work of the engineering training of our school in 2022, and Li Wei, director of the Basic Engineering Training Center, reported on the "14th Five-Year Plan" construction plan for the engineering training of our school.

The attending experts gave high praise to the annual work and the "14th Five-Year Plan" of the center after listening to the report. At the same time, they conducted discussions and exchanges on the construction of engineering training platforms, talent cultivation, curriculum construction, team building and condition guarantee. Moreover, experts also provided opinions and suggestions on how to support the distinctive development of agricultural machinery of our school and how to further integrate the industry and education between school and enterprise.

After the conference, the experts listened to the construction of labor education of our school and visited the second Labor Education Works Exhibition of Jiangsu University on site.
