From March 17 to March 20, the 6th Jiangsu University Selection Competition of Engineering Training Comprehensive Ability competition for University Students in Jiangsu province, sponsored by the Office of Academic Affairs, organized by the Industrial Center and co-organized by the Basic Engineering Training Center, was successfully held in the industrial Center. The national college students' engineering training comprehensive ability competition Gao Jiaosi sponsored by the Ministry of Education is one of the three largest national undergraduate course contests, be influential in the country, is the Ministry of Education, Ministry of Finance to carry out the "undergraduate teaching quality and teaching reform project" key funding, also is our key to encourage and support the national class A subject race. This competition is held once every two years. The system of school, province (municipality directly under the Central Government, autonomous region) and national three-level competition is implemented. On the basis of school-level competition, students are selected to enter the next level one by one. The theme of the competition is "Adhering to the virtues of Chonglao Engineering Innovation and excellence, serving the society, building the country intelligently and acting bravely". Oriented to meet the needs of global sustainable development engineers, and serve the national innovation drive and manufacturing strategy, strengthen the awareness of engineering ethics, and insist on innovation, theory based on practice facilities, professional disciplines cross, collaborative innovation between colleges and institute of humanities combination, make with distinct Chinese characteristics of high-end engineering innovation competition, To build high-quality engineering that leads the development direction of engineering practice education in the world, build a practical education platform oriented to engineering practice, serving social needs, and university-enterprise collaborative innovation, cultivate outstanding engineering technology reserve talents in service manufacturing power, and start a new journey of Engineering practice and innovation education for Chinese college students. We will build a world-class education system of engineering practice and innovation with Chinese characteristics through competition to promote learning, education, reform and development, improve the quality of engineering personnel training in an all-round way, and build a large army of knowledgeable, technology-based and innovative workers.
The competition set up 4 race tracks and 11 events, attracting 82 teams from mechanical, automotive, dynamic, material, electrical, computer, economic management, chemical and other colleges, a total of 319 students to participate in the competition, the scale reached the largest in history. After the preliminary competition, a total of 53 teams entered the final, and finally awarded 2 first prizes, 3 second prizes and 5 third prizes of "potential drive car"; 2 first prizes and 1 second prize of "Thermal drive Vehicle"; "Intelligent logistics handling" 2 first prize, 2 second prize, 3 third prize; "Bridge Structure Design" won 2 first prizes and 2 second prizes; "Intelligent distribution UAV" 1 first prize, 2 second prizes, 2 third prizes; One first prize, two second prizes and four third prizes of "Household garbage classification"; "Enterprise Operation Simulation" 1 first prize, 2 second prizes, 5 third prizes; 1 first prize and 1 second prize of "Engineering Scene digitization". After publicity, our school will recommend 18 winning teams to participate in the 6th Jiangsu College Students Engineering Training Comprehensive Ability Competition to be held in Nanjing Institute of Technology in late April. In the coming days, the industrial Center will organize the participating teams in the provincial competition to further polish and strengthen training, and strive to make persistent efforts in the provincial competition, break out the tight circle, and enter the national finals, and continue to add luster to our school.
